SRH’s opportunity to build on the joyous ‘277’ high

Sunrisers Hyderabad have packed their bags and sent them westward for their second away game against Gujarat Titans. Even the cinders from that historic ‘hit-a-thon’ at the HCA stadium are just now starting to cool.

For the Sunrisers, it’s back to the drawing board. Depending on the kind of surface available in Ahmedabad, SRH may need to swiftly adapt the speed. Following their 523-run batting extravaganza in Hyderabad, which came just after a 412-run match in Kolkata. Who better to adjust to the arena that won the trio a large golden reward in November than their captain Pat Cummins, coach Daniel Vettori, and the Indian crowd suppressor Travis Head?

As the Titans returned from their journey to Chennai, where they were humiliated by the reigning champions by a score of 63 runs. They will be hoping that the comforts of home help them get back on track. The Titans may just prefer a sluggish surface. The venue occasionally offers, with the batting order still getting adjusted to playing without star player Mohammed Shami. The bowling unit attempting to make up for it.
