The next T20 World Cup is anticipated in the US and West Indies. Rob Key has disclosed that Jofra Archer is an opponent. Archer, who hasn’t competed for England in almost a year, is also trying for a place in the T20I series against Pakistan the following month.

In the last three years, he has suffered from varying medical difficulties. Stress fractures are among his complications. He took part in only seven matches for England since March 2021. He took few wickets in the last five matches he played for Mumbai Indians in the IPL.

“Jofra Archer bowled exceptionally well during his preseason sting with Sussex in India”, according to Sky sports.”To prepare for the T20 World cup, he has come back to the Caribbean. He will play some club cricket there. He will play in Pakistan series. But with Jofra, things are up in the air at the moment”

Even with the losses, England is optimistic that Archer will reach his peak again. In addition to receiving a two-year contract from the ECB, he was a traveling reserve for the ODI World Cup in India the previous year. But Key is hesitant to hurry the quick bowler since it might lead to complications once more. We’re going to take things gradually instead of trying to move too rapidly so that we can get him back for an extended amount of time,” he stated.
