Bangladesh Hired Mushtaq Ahmed’s services

Mushtaq Ahmed will train them until the end of the T20 World Cup. His announcement surprised everyone in Pakistan because his services were given that much attention and importance which he deserves. But this decision would not be without the permission from the top management of PCB.

 

Mushtaq Ahmed replaced Rangana Herath, who departed the BCB after the first Test match against New Zealand last year,

The 53-year-old will join the Bangladeshi squad before the preparatory camp for the T20 series against Zimbabwe.

He said he felt immense honor for being a coach of Bangladesh’s team. He further opined that Bangladesh is the most dangerous team and he is excited to share his experience with the talented players.

“They have the skills, resources, and aptitude to overcome anyone.” I’ll make an effort to instill that belief in them. “I am delighted about the chance to collaborate with the group,” he said.

During his playing career, Mushtaq took 185 and 161 Test wickets and ODI wickets respectively. His bowling was highly acknowledged and appreciated. He was a legend of his time. His spin bowling has done wonders for Pakistan team and many a team he bacame the sole match winner. His services before and after his retirement were always remembered by the team.

He was the spin bowling coach for England, the West Indies , and Pakistan. He also played a role as a bowling consultant for two years for the Pakistan team from 2014 to 2016.
