Babar Azam in the PSL 9 makes history by playing such an extraordinary innings
In PSLÂ 9Â Babar Azam is leading Peshawar Zalmi.In their opening game against Quetta Gladiators, Zalmi lost by 16 runs. However, through his four fours and four sixes, he completed 68 runs on 42 balls. After scoring 3003 runs at a strike rate of 125.49% Babar became the first player to reach 3000 mark.
The innings began with Saim Ayub and Babar Azam who made 91 runs which made them chase a huge total of 207 set up by the Quetta Gladiators. Jason Roy and Saud Shakeel destroyed Peshawar bowlers when they made 158 after Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and decided to bowl first. Jason Roy batted through almost half of the innings that saw him score heavily before getting out for a fifty. While Saud Shakeel also played a brilliant inning making seventy-four against them.

In the Pakistan Super League (PSL 9), Babar Azam hit the milestone of three thousand whereas Mohammad Rizwan entered into two thousand runs club most recently. For Rizwan, he became fourth batter to go past 2,000 run-mark in PSL having recorded exactly his total over sixty one innings at a strike-rate of approximately one hundred twenty-eight point three two percent . The Multan Sultans’ captain, Muhammad Rizwan, guided his squad to the championship game the previous season.In the very first game, Multan won from Karachi Kings by 55 runs.
